The Suzuki Midnight Sun Run 2020 has been cancelled

The Suzuki Midnight Sun Run is a race that has taken place every year since 1992.

The race has grown into being one of the biggest running events of the year here in Iceland. It’s an event that brings friends and family together to enjoy a run together in the midnight sun. Given today's circumstances we have come to the conclusion that hosting an event in June that is as big as this one, is not sensible and the race has therefor been cancelled.

We want to encourage everyone to keep training and hopefully we’ll see you in the Islandsbanki Reykjavik Marathon on the 22nd of August.

All those who have signed up already, have received and e-mail with further instructions and information.

With kind regards,

Reykjavik Sports Union and Suzuki
