Registration in full swing

The 2018 Suzuki Midnight Sun Run takes place on Thursday, June 21st. Registration is in full swing here at and will be open until midnight on Wednesday, June 20th. We encourage runners to register online since the entry fee is 20% higher if registered on race day.

Around 1600 runners are now registered for the race. Almost 1000 runners living outside Iceland have entered. Most of the international guests are coming from USA, UK, and Canada.

In the Suzuki Midnight Sun Run you can choose between three distances:

5 k race
10 k race
half marathon

The course is measured by certified AIMS measures and accredited by the Icelandic Athletic Federation.

Close by the start and finish of the race is one of the city’s wonderful geothermal outdoor swimming pools, Laugardalslaug. All participants are invited to the swimming pool, hot tubs, and steam baths after the race. It's a perfect way to relax after a successful race in the midnight sun.
