Race day

The Suzuki Midnight Sun Run will take place Thursday evening, June 19th 2025. The start for 5 km race will be at 20:50 - competition ticket and at 20:55 - general ticket and the 21 km and 10 km races will be at 21:05 - competition ticket and at 21:10 - general ticket. Nearly 2,500 people participate in the Suzuki Midnight Sun Run each year, with participants coming from many different countries. Here you can access the race's participant list.

All participants in the Suzuki Midnight Sun Run will receive a medal. First three men, women and non-binary with competition ticket will win cash prizes and gifts from the race sponsors. Age group prizes will also be awarded to participants with competition ticket.

The starting line is located on Engjavegur in front of Laugardalshöll, and the finish area is in Laugardalur behind the ice skating rink. Here you can see a map that explains the location of both the start and finish areas.

The race routes in the Suzuki Midnight Sun Run are both enjoyable and challenging. Three different distances are offered, and here you can find maps of all the race routes along with elevation profiles

After the run, all participants are invited to enjoy free entry to Laugardalslaug for a pool party. A DJ will play for pool guests from 22:00 to 00:30, and Ölgerðin will provide drinks at the pool. Participants must present their bib number to gain access to the pool. More information about the pool party can be found here
